HUNTSVILLE, AL., (October 10, 2024) – KODA Technologies, in partnership with Purdue University, has been awarded an Air Force SBIR Phase I contract to develop the Advanced Space Situational Awareness Process (AS2AP). This project will enhance the detection and tracking of dynamic space objects, such as spaceplanes and eventually cis-lunar capable systems, which demonstrate the growing complexity of space operations.
Using advanced algorithms, AS2AP adapts to non-cooperative behaviors, ensuring accurate tracking/locating capabilities. The system will undergo rigorous testing to validate its performance, providing a vital tool for commercial, governmental, and national security applications. This award highlights KODA Technologies’ commitment to advancing space situational awareness and operational capabilities.
